Back in 1999, in the basement of his home, Wet Technologies® CEO and founder, Frederick Greis, began to conceive and develop the very first prototypes of what would quickly become his unique “wet slurry”, closed-loop, vapor blasting technology.
The early goal of those initial designs remains similar to today’s more advanced configurations: to provide industry with a smarter, faster, safer, cleaner and more sustainable alternative to traditional chemical and dry blasting systems — easier to manage and more affordable to maintain.
Today, operating out of a state-of-the-art facility, Wet Technologies is proud to continue creating manual and automated vapor blasting cabinet systems for many respected manufacturing facilities. Each unit is proudly designed, developed and built in the USA.
The first Wet Technologies system – a manual 50” cabinet – is delivered to Aerothrust Miami. It will achieve over 16,000 hours of reliable operation. Established 1999.

Vapor blasting applications include extensive cleaning, degreasing, deburring and descaling, removal of paint, removal of chemicals and oxidation, high-precision composite etching and finishing, surface profiling, polishing, texturing and more.
