Vapor Blasting Cabinets
We have our entry level FORCE cabinet, made of molded polymer. This is the only model available in this material. All other cabinets are constructed of stainless steel.
Standard cabinet sizes include 36”, 50”, 60”, and 72” square.
We can readily supply custom sized cabinets for special applications, all the way to large platforms and walk in rooms. Compact systems can allow for installation against a wall.
Your Wet Tech cabinet build starts with all of our trusted standard cabinet features. We work with you to customize your cabinet size and functionality — We have standard manual cabinet options and automated configurations available to create your ideal system, depending on your application and requirements.
Which cabinet style is right for me?
Budget and application considerations; Individual or diversified parts are generally run in manual systems, while high production of similar parts lend themselves to automated systems.
In many cases, we supply combination systems that have automation capability while including a manual “glove box” station for touch up or non-automation parts. Consult with our team on how we can customize finishing systems to accelerate your production.
STANDARD MANUAL OPTIONS
1. Stainless Steel Cabinet Construction*
All non-corrosive materials: Including 300 series stainless steel tig welded cabinet with heavy wall tubular stainless frame.
Large, wide open access combination load/unload and maintenance access door with our standard vertical pneumatic design. Additional door options available.
*Our entry level FORCE cabinet is made of molded polymer and is the only cabinet available in this material.
2. Pumping and agitation system—The Heart of the Wet Tech Process
High Concentration Submerged Urethane Vortex heavy-duty 3.7 kW pump utilizing a Baldor Premium Efficient Super-E Motor designed for high wear/slurry applications. Advanced design is easy to service.
Pulse free slurry delivery system.
Standard continuous concentration rating exceeding 40 percent by volume.
The Wet Tech Agitation System is high output agitation generated by diversion of a portion of the pump flow into the sump to ensure fast start up from settled media and repeatability.
3. Closed Loop Particle Filtration Supplying View Window and Manual Rinse Hose
Cascading closed loop system consisting of automatic pause shut off valve to preserve good media, a large external holding tank fitted with multiple removable weir tanks, anon-demand auto rinse diaphragm pump feeding into a fine bag filter. The closed loop system then supplies a manual rinse hose/nozzle, and view window rinse. Automated configurations available.
4. Wide laminated safety glass view window with on demand rinse bar eliminates the need for maintenance prone wipers
5. External hinged external light box with high intensity output LEDs
6. Gravity exhaust, 4”/6” with a cleanable demister baffle
7. One (1) standard easy to change boron carbide ½” Blast Nozzle and urethane process gun assembly
A 3/8” nozzle can be substituted at no charge
Optional fan or “duckbill” and extended nozzle options are available.
8. Heavy, replaceable gummed rubber curtains on all interior wall and door
9. Fiber reinforced 1” worktable/ screen guard up to 500-pound capacity depending on model
10. Large mushroom type process start/stop thigh activated buttons
11. Automatic Media Concentration Monitor *Patent pending
Samples and displays the average ratio of solid media to water. The operator simply presses a button located adjacent to a visible external sight gage, which allows a timed flow of slurry to fill the gage. The media then settles in the sight gage, allowing the operator to read the relative concentration of solid to water. Patent Pending.
12. Built in Hydro-cyclone
This device allows the customer to easily empty the media in the process sump into a five-gallon bucket when using different media, or when performing a scheduled maintenance clean out. It comes complete with quick connect fittings.
